The headset needs to conform to the "DHSG"-standard in order to operate it directly at the COMfortel 2500's headset jack. The following settings are required for operation:
- Setup a function-key with the function "headset". This allows easy switching of the headset-function.
- Setup the headset type: In the phone's menu -> settings -> headset -> headset type select "DHSG headset". Note: Please ask the manufacturer of the headset for the correct type, an adapter is possibly required.
- In the phone's menu -> settings -> headset -> headset ringer you can select whether an incoming call is signaled in the headset's earpiece. Note: Only the first tone is signalled in the headset.
