The Seestern Fitness Club Süd in Düsseldorf offers a wide range of fitness options as well as tennis in a personal atmosphere. A modern communication infrastructure is also required for enquiries from prospective and existing customers. Against the background of the all-IP switch over and the termination of the old connection, the fitness club were looking for a new telephony solution. "It was important to us that the equipment in the future would allow more flexibility, offer a high level of investment protection and help optimise our work processes," explains Karsten Peschke - Operations Manager at Seestern.
The Seestern Fitness Club Süd was finally chosen for an IT communication solution from the ITK specialist Auerswald. Key to the decision was the convincing concept of the Auerswald Advanced Partner Bösen & Heinke GmbH & Co. KG, whose good service quality had already convinced the Seestern Fitness Club in the past. The solution proposed by the long-time Auerswald partner comprises the IT system COMpact 4000, three COMfortel 1400 IP telephones, one COMfortel 2600 IP telephone and five PoE injectors for simple and fast power supply. In addition, the Seestern Fitness Club Süd now has an IP DECT server and three associated mobile DECT handsets. A simple solution, this system can be expanded to an IP multi-cell server with up to 30 handsets when the number of employees increases. The delivery and installation took place within one month. Particularly helpful for the fitness club, the existing wiring could be used without any problems. The ITK system now provides 4 simultaneous VoIP channels and, in addition to comprehensive VoIP integration, the COMpact 4000 has an integrated voicemail and fax system offering modern unified messaging functions.
The system supports the Internet protocol IPv6 and encrypted internal VoIP calls. The optimized echo cancellation and wideband audio with G.722 codec guarantee excellent voice quality for all calls. With their TFT color display with touch function and programmable function keys, the Auerswald telephones ensure special convenience when making calls. The name and number display from the central telephone book of the ITK system also simplifies the work processes of the employees. When it comes to building automation, the Auerswald solution also impresses. Depending on requirements, a door intercom can be connected to one of the eight a / b ports, for example. In addition, CTI clients can optionally be integrated into the system using the Auerswald UC solution PBX Call Assist 3.
The fitness studio benefits in every respect from its continuous accessibility across the entire area. With the help of the Auerswald IP-DECT server, employees are able to move anywhere within the radio network and to make calls with the DECT handsets without interruptions. The Seestern Fitnessclub Süd now uses a modern communication solution that fully meets future requirements.
